Training for non-degree program at Akita University

In the framework of M-JEED project, Ms. T. Enkhtuya, master trainer of School of Applied Sciences, has involved for non-degree program from “New advanced materials study and development” project team on 2nd to 30th August at Akita University.

with Prof. Sugawara and Prof. Okawa

Prof. Hirokazu Okawa has supervised laboratory experiments at material’s science facilities. The purpose of this research was to increase electric conductivity of Li-ion batteries and 39 samples collected during the experiments of setting gold nano nucleus on carbon surface by ultrasound in argon gas atmosphere.

Working on SEM and TEM

Obtained materials tested on UV-vis spectrophotometer, TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy), ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry) equipments.
