It is held annually on this very topic at the national level. The symposium is organized by School of Geology and Mining and funded by Kojegobi company. It opening speech was made by Vice President Baasandash.Ch and SGM’s head Chinzorig.B.

Forty three articles and six reports were selected from numerous work on Mongolian geology’s environmental surrounding, engineering and geology’s state, earthquake activation, geodynamics state, spring’s hydrochemistry, underground water pollution, monitoring and rock glaciers; they will be published in a summary of “Mongolian Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology and Geology’s Problems” on “Geology” magazine’s 32th volume and eleven of them were presented among the researches, professors, engineers and students during the symposium.
