Ms.Kennedy’s talk about the up-to-date technological innovations of 2015 was held in MUST for its students, researchers and faculties. The event, organized through collaboration between the university’s International Relations and Cooperation’s Office and Open Innovation Laboratory, was attended by seventy members of the institution’s members.
The beginning of the talk was focused on introduction to the magazine, MIT Technology Review and its top ten picks of technologies of 2015. The magazine has been nominating the top ten annually since 2001, based on criteria of effectiveness and easy access to public of world-wide platform. Thus, it plays a crucial role in bolstering economical growth and supporting start-ups.
In her 14 years at MIT, Kathleen has helped MIT Technology Review to redefine the magazine brand and to achieve success in a rapidly changing market. She has established several new lines of business in the United States as well as in Asia, Europe and Latin America. She leads events, sales and international licensing for MIT’s media company as well as the global team of the entrepreneurial support organization, the MIT Enterprise Forum.
