Program Purpose |
The Apparel Engineering program aims to develop skilled professionals capable of integrating the principles of engineering, design, and technology into the apparel industry. The program should prepare students to effectively design, analyze, and improve processes and systems in textile production, garment manufacturing, quality control, supply chain management, and sustainable practices within the fashion and apparel sector. |
Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) |
PEO 1. Graduates will be equipped with the ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex engineering problems in the apparel industry. PEO 2. Graduates will engage in the ability of ethical professionals with mature professional and personal attitudes who can develop and implement apparel materials science and eco-and green technology in the production process PEO 3. Graduates will be able to work effectively as part of multidisciplinary teams in the apparel industry. They will possess leadership qualities and the ability to communicate, collaborate, and manage projects in diverse work environments, driving innovation and quality improvements. PEO 4. Graduates will be equipped with the ability to work implementing and updating new solutions and innovations in apparel design, technology, and product development at every stage of the product development process. |
