Weekly learning hour for Lecture, Seminar, Lab, Homework: 2:2:0:5

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This is a course in the study of the basics of linear algebra, vector calculus, analytic geometry and differential and integral calculus of functions of one independent variable, including the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. This will enable them attend engineering courses and deal with engineering problems. Applications to engineering will be a focus of this course.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES:

  1. Students will be made familiar with linear algebra, analytic geometry and differential and integral calculus of functions of one variable.
  2. They will be able to solve systems of linear equations and apply the methods of linear algebra and differential and integral calculus when dealing with engineering tasks.
  3. After completing the course students will be prepared for further study of technical disciplines.
  4. Develop skills necessary for working independently and in a team.
