A paper titled “History Document Image Background Noise and Removal Method” by Prof. Ganchimeg.G of E-Open Institute, MUST had won 2015 Outstanding Article Award from International Journal of Knowledge Content Development. The article was not only well organized and effectively presented, but its topic was particularly timely given that many libraries, library consortia, and historical organizations are digitizing their historical paper document collections.
