School of Geology and Mining Engineering opened the “Industrial Process Automation” and “Electric Safety Process Virtual Lab” advanced technology laboratories which financed by ADB in the framework of “Higher Education Reform” project. Prof. Kh. Enkhjargal, Vice-president and Prof. L. Purev, Vice-president, Prof. B. Chinzorig, Director of the SGME and Mr. B. Batsaikhan, Senior officer of MECSS and other officials participated in the opening ceremony.

Upon opening of this laboratory allows to mining electrical engineering students to practice theoretical knowledge in this advanced laboratory, and gives a great opportunity for mining and power engineering staff to professionally developed. This laboratory facilitated with advanced equipments and devices widely used in the mining companies and the sector.
During the opening ceremony, CDIO program implementation students’ creation exhibition shown to the participants.
