conduct the International Scientific Russian and Mongolian Conference
“PROBLEMS OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND SCIENCE IN CENTRAL ASIA”
due to be held during the period from 19 – 23 August, 2006 in the city of Ulan-Ude

   

 International Scientific Conference is conducted with the aim of discussion of problems of Higher Education and Science in the educational institutions of Central Asia.

       The conference is counted on wide exchange of ideas about development of education and science in Mongolia, China and Russia, on discussion of work experience of higher educational institutions in the field of educational programs.
Leading scientists and specialists of higher educational establishments and education management bodies are invited for participation in the conference.

1. MAIN CONFERENCE THEMATIC PRIORITIES:
1       Improvement of education content and methods and its economic mechanisms.
2       Development of security system of educational services quality and promotion of efficiency of education system management.
3       Integration of science and education as a factor for international cooperation development.
4       Historical traditions and education experience of nomadic nations.
5       Bologna Declaration: problems, milestones and solutions

2.     REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
 In order to take part in the international scientific conference it is necessary to send to the conference organizational committee:
·   an application form (the application form is in the annex 1);
·   an article or an abstract
  
3.   PLACE AND CONDITIONS OF ORGANIZATION
      Arrival of the conference participants in the city of Ulan-Ude is on 19th of August, 2006. The International Conference will take place in the Conference Hall of the tourist resort of the Eastern Siberia State University of Technology “Rovesnik” at the lake Baikal shore (Maksimikha) from 20-22 August. Participants depart Ulan-Ude on 23rd of August, 2006.
      Application form for participation in the conference can be submitted till 15th of July, 2006. After the application form will be received the Invitation Letter will be sent to the potential conference participant.
     Organizational Fee:
      The organizational fee includes the conference materials costs (program publication, information and invitation letters, coffee breaks, hotel reservation, cultural program, transportation costs).
      The amount of the organizational fee is $100 US. Accommodation costs in the tourist resort “Rovesnik”  - $50 US/per night; in Ulan-Ude –  $40 US/per night.
      Organization fee can be paid by registration.            

4. DEADLINE:
·     Submission of the application forms is till 15th of July, 2006
