UNESCO publishing “Rethinking Education” book opening ceremony and forum on “Education development trend”

The advancement in education extension globally and necessity comes in an action to rethink education in terms of identifying the future orientation. In this regard, global experts team setup by the decree from the Director-General of UNECSO. The team published the book “Rethinking Education” and it’s published in 11 languages.

By the initiative of Prof. D. Badarch, Director of Division of Social Transformation and Intercultural Dialogue, UNESCO and Prof. B. Ochirbat, President of MUST, International Higher Education Research Center translated the book into Mongolian and published at MUST press.

 

On 5th April, the “Education development trend” forum successfully took place during the book opening ceremony and Mr. Sobhi Tawil, team leader of “Rethinking Education” research team and Prof. D. Badarch participated in the forum. Thus, Prof. N. Begz, Academician and Advisor to Minister, Prof. T. Amarjargalan, Director of Higher Education, MECSS, Prof. Ts. Unurbayan, Peoples’ teacher, Prof. Kh. Enkhjargal, Vice-president for Education, MUST, Prof. S. Nyamzagd, Academician and President of Etugen University, Dr. Ch. Lodoiravsal, Professor of NUM, Dr. B. Bayartsetseg, Director of the Department, Institute of Education and Ms. S. Uyanga, Secretary-General of Mongolian National Commission for UNESCO participated in  the forum and discussed the presentations and recent studies of the leading researchers and scholars in the field of policy, pedagogy and teachers training system. Moreover, there are 160 representatives and participants from MECSS, MUST, NUM, Academy of Science, and Mongolian University of Life Sciences, Mongolian University of Education and Mongolian University of Defense.

The book will be distributed to the libraries around the country and the Central Library of Science and Technology of MUST and online version available on International Higher Education Research Center’s webpage. We would highly appreciate for feedbacks about the translation.
