The 2016 Summer School successfully was held in Harbin, China

Our university was initiated Summer School in cooperation with Chemnitz University of Technology from Germany. Now the summer school has expanded with four countries universities such as Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST), Chemnitz University of Technology, Novosibirsk State Technical University and Harbin University of Science and Technology. The 2016 Summer School on Information and Communication Technology successfully was held on 11-15 July, 2016 in Harbin, China.

From Mongolia participated Doctor of Science, professor Uranchimeg T. (Faculty Development Center), Doctor of Science, professor Narantsetseg R. (Foreign Language Institute), Senior lecture Ariunaa (Foreign Language Institute), Doctor KhurelbaatarTs.(School of Information and Telecommunication Technology), Lecture ErdenesaikhanTs. (SITT), Senior lecturerErdenetuya A. (School of Mechanical Engineering and Transportation), Senior lecturerChoisuren P. (SMET), System engineer Tumurchudur L. (E-Open Institute) and Doctor Byambasuren M. (Transportation Institute) and presented their research papers.In this summer school very actively attended Chinese students and teachers.

The opening ceremony, four schools have representatives and signed the "2016 ICT School cooperation agreement."

During the summer school was invited lecture the director of the Artificial Intelligence Research Center, Germany professor ChristophIgel, presented "Industry 4.0 + Education = Education 4.0 Learning and working in the age of digitisation and the Internet of Things". Professor Hardt Wolfram Chemnitz University of Technology,  ProfessorUranchimegTudevdagva Mongolian University of Science and Technology, Professor Ivan Reva, Novosibirsk State Technical University and Professor He Yongjun Harbin University of Science and Technology respectively for all participants and our school teachers and students gave a keynote lecture.

This time the summer school was unique because it held the first time in China and did discussion forum for PhD students.

Next 2017 Summer School will be held on first week of July in the Chemnitz city Germany.

Traditionally every year we select Best paper by presentation. 2016 year Best paper  award winner was Phillip Parsch from Germany. His paper title is “On designing reliable and energy-efficient MACs for Unidirectional nodes”.

Every year the Summer school range is widened. We are planning to receive invited lectures, presentations, papers in engineering field and PhD students final research report for discussion in the "PhD forum".
