Bestowing “Honorary Doctor” title to Prof. Badarch Dendev

Based upon resolution no.3 of Academic council of MUST on 24 March, 2017 awarding “Honorary Doctor” title in Technology to Prof. Badarch Dendev, Director of Division of Director of Division of Social Transformation and Intercultural Dialogue, UNESCO, who worked for 25 years at MUST to develop strategic policy and strengthen facilities and management in terms of membership in global education network and significantly contributed to global education and cultural development in last 15 years at UNESCO. 

Bestowing ceremony took place on 06th April and former presidents of MUST, directors of affiliated schools, academic staff, researchers and alumni from Ural Federal University participated and Prof. B. Ochirbat, President of MUST opened the ceremony. Prof. Ch. Baasandash, Vice-president for Research introduced the Academic council decree to award Honorary doctor title and Prof. L. Purev, Vice-president for Economy and Social Development introduced Prof. D. Badarch’s biography. According to the program, Prof. B. Ochirbat awarded “Honorary Doctor” gown, mortar board and medal and certificate, and presented “khadag” with silver bowl and bouquet of flowers.

 

Congratulatory speech given by Academician Prof. P. Ochibat, former President of Mongolia, Prof. G. Batkhurel, Professor of MUST and emeritus economist, Academician Prof. D. Regdel, President of Academy of Science, Prof. Sh. Rashid, Professor of School of Applied Sciences, MUST and Mr. N. Dulamjav, Member of Governing board of Alumni Association of Ural Federal University. Prof. D. Badarch gave reward speech afterwards.

 

Prof. D. Badarch has been worked for former Institute of Polytechnics, Technical University and MUST in 1978-2003 from faculty member to President, and successfully executive for teaching, research activities and expanding international collaboration and initiate joint projects and faculty development, and establishing laboratory building.
